Arnaldo Rodriguez, Vice President, Admission and Financial Aid
Arnaldo grew up in Cuba and has lived on the West Coast since 1962. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Portland, a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Oregon, and received his Ed.D. from Seattle University. Arnaldo has spent 35 years in admission, financial aid and enrollment management. Arnaldo’s recruitment territories include Hawaii, New Jersey, and a number of schools in the Los Angeles area.

Angel B. Pérez, Director of Admission
Angel is a native of Ponce, Puerto Rico and grew up in New York City. He has a bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College, a master’s degree from Columbia University and is currently working on a PhD at Claremont Graduate University. He has worked in admission at Skidmore College (New York), and Claremont McKenna College (California). He also spent several years counseling New York City public school students regarding the transition to college process. Angel’s recruitment territories include New York, San Francisco, and Washington State. When he’s not busy working at Pitzer, he might be exploring foreign countries, participating in local marathons and triathlons, enjoying the outdoors in Los Angeles, or just reading a great book.
Justin Voss, Associate Director of Admission
Justin grew up in La Cañada, California, and is a graduate of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. While in college he became involved as a tour guide and overnight host and his work in admissions began. After graduating college, he returned to Southern California and worked for a before and after school program in the Antelope Valley. He then spent four years in the Office of Admission at Whittier College. An avid Dodgers fan, Justin also enjoys collecting CDs, playing guitar, mandolin, and banjo. Justin’s recruitment territories include Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Oregon, Georgia, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles local area schools.
Constance Perez, Assistant Director of Admission
Constance grew up in Los Angeles, California, and graduated from Ramona Convent Secondary School in Alhambra, California. She is an alumna of Pitzer and earned her degrees in Political Studies and English and World Literature. During her time as a student she was Head Delegate of the Pitzer-Pomona Model United Nations team, served on Student Senate and volunteered with incarcerated youth through the Center for California Cultural and Social Issues. Outside of work, Constance enjoys baking, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Constance’s recruitment territories include: Colorado, New Mexico, and Southern California (Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley, Riverside County) and parts of the Bay Area (San Jose, Palo Alto, Monterey and Marin).
Danny Irving, Admission Counselor
Danny grew up in San Diego, California and attended Francis Parker High School. He is a Pitzer alumnus of the class of 2008 and he earned his degrees in Economics and Organizational Studies. While at Pitzer, Danny worked as a student tour guide and an admission fellow. He also spent the summer of 2007 studying abroad in Japan. In his free time Danny enjoys cooking, reading, snow boarding and playing cards. Danny's recruitment territories include Arizona, Michigan, Florida, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Texas, Utah and Los Angeles local area schools.
Adam Rosenzweig, Admission Counselor
Adam was born in Santa Monica, California, but proudly claims Palo Alto and the San Francisco Bay Area as his home. Adam graduated from Gunn High School, Foothill Middle College in 2004. After spending a fantastic year studying and volunteering in Israel, Adam returned to Foothill College. He then [enthusiastically] transferred to Pitzer in the Fall of 2006. One of the activities he enjoyed at Pitzer was playing Ultimate Frisbee with the Claremont Braineaters. A History major, he graduated in 2009. Adam enjoys playing the guitar and the harmonica and firmly believes that it "don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing." Adam’s recruitment territories include Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Connecticut.
Fernando Calderon, Graduate Admission Fellow
Fernando was raised in Pomona, California and attended Ganesha High School. An alumnus of Pitzer, he earned his degree in Sociology. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Higher Education with an emphasis in educational reform and effectiveness at Claremont Graduate University. While a student at Pitzer, Fernando served as a Resident Assistant and a first-year student mentor. He also served as a sexual harassment peer counselor for the Office of Student Affairs, and served on the Sexual Harassment Hearing and Judicial Council. During his senior year, Fernando was selected to participate in the Pomona College theatre production of Zoot Suit and played the role of Enrique Reyna. During his free time, Fernando enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, collecting Calvin and Hobbes comic strips, watching Friends, and listening to music.
